March 23-25, Finn Quilt held its annual event in Vaasa with the theme Energy! (It's taken me too long to post these photos!) Three local groups acted as hosts, making for lots of work hanging quilts up, taking them down, and doing lots of other behind-the-scenes work. It was all worth it, though, and people from all over Finland (about 300 participants, plus the public who were able to come to see the quilts on Sunday afternoon) seemed pleased with the event.There several exhibits, including one inspired by the Sea and another by the word Energy.
