Easing Back into Things Quilty

Ok, Friday I promised to get back to my quilting life over the weekend.... I did clean up the quilt room and I was actually crafty today!!! As of result of this craftiness, though, I'm not going to post a photo of the cleaned up room, as it is now a disaster once again! I hadn't even plugged my machine back into the wall after my holiday travels until today! Today I helped a friend (Olivia's other mother) create a big brother for Click. Pick will soon be on his way to his new home in Germany. While helping, I got started on two sets of gift coasters - hopefully I'll be able to finish them soon....

Thanks to everyone who left nice notes on Friday's post - I will get back into my Hedgeghog email soon, too. (I liked Jenni's comment about hedgehogs hibernating - Aparently, this hedgehog needed to hibernate for about six weeks.)

Here's one photo from my holiday travels (better late than never!) - December 26th found me in Riga, Latvia.

Good to have you back Jen. Take one step at the time and you soon will produce like you did before. I have been in the same place as you last year. Nothing was inspiring me, and I found no joy going into my sewingroom. But please remember...it will pass. Perhaps you needed this little rest (like the hedgehogs does in the winter)

Nice chooks!

And doesn't Riga look good. How amazing being able to holiday in places like Latvia...don't think they get too many Aussie tourists!

Welcome back - hope the hibernation was a good one. With the cold weather we've been having that sounds like a really good idea to hibernate for 6 weeks.

Cute little chicks sitting there on your machine. It's good to see you back.

I've been meaning to make one of these, and haven't gotten around to it. Looks cute. A nice project you can finish quickly sounds like just the thing to get back into the quilty world. Especially, if you can give Click a friend at the same time.

Welcome back. I like the chickens, and I'm also interested in your two books. My book group just read both. What did you think of Snow? I found it very difficult. Something about the tone is lost in the translation, I think.
