First of all, Blogger has decided only to speak Finnish to me today!! I can figure out that 'uusi teksti' means 'new post' but other than that, I'm a bit lost!! My Finnish is progressing in millimeters. At least my Swedish is moving ahead in centimeters! I went to see The Wizard of Oz på svenska on Saturday. The costumes were terrific!!
Unfortunately, I didn't finish the blue baby quilt before leaving for the UK for ten days tonight. Hopefully I can finish it by the little one's first birthday in June. I did decide how I'll layout the blocks, though. That's about the only quilty thing I've done since Easter! I actually entered the sewing room the other day, though - to hem a pair of black pants for an interview.
Posting a photo below, just so you have something pretty to look at. Look closely - in the background you'll see the 'new' bridge (new since I was last there) between Denmark and Sweden. Hope to post some fun photos from Aberdeen and London upon my return! Really looking forward to a fairly empty calendar for May - lots of time to study these languages and to do some quilting!

I learned a little bit swedish and more danish... but forgot all !!! Too bad :( Have a nice trip !
Ah yeah I don't think a screen full of Finnish would be decipherable at all! Enjoy your trip!
And my blogger spoke to me in norwegian today. So I guess there is a change all over. How is your sewing doing???
Have a great trip!
That bridge is awesome!
And the sailboats look inviting as well (we sail, so of course I had to mention them) GRIN
What a beautiful view.
Oh, blogger is still speaking English to me but it seems to be slower than usual.
Best wishes for a safe trip and can't wait to see the Aberdeen photos.
You can switch the English language back from your own settings. Many Finn knitbloggers have complained the same thing. It's funny, as we are used to think blogging in English, it's difficult for a Finn to understand what the Finnish translations mean :D
I hope to get some sewing done in May as I have some holidays from work. Hope your trip was great.
Hope you're having a great trip to UK! We're in Tennessee right now, and it is beautiful!
I am way behind on blog reading, I loved the easter eggs! just beautiful! oh and I love the cookbook!
Know what you mean about the language thing. Occasionally it all appears in French. I'm getting better, but really do prefer to read and write in my mnther tongue! Hope the trip to the UK is going ok.
Have a great trip. My hat is off to you in learning Swedish. It seems to be a very difficult language.
