Great Graffiti

On the way back from my conference, while knitting on the train with my friend, I spotted this little bit of graffiti as we prepared to change trains in Tampere!

Here is a link to the artist. And here are some other links to similar artists/projects worldwide! Needless to say, I've spent far too much time online today!

I did finish up one pair of socks during some rather dry plenary sessions (and on the train) - another pair of Thujas using yarn my aunt sent me last month. This is pair number 6 of our 9 in 2oo9 challenge! I also picked up some maize yarn and a new magazine along the way. Now back to the sewing machine!

How exciting to find some knitted "graffiti," and with a blog address no less. I have only seen one, but am on the lookout!

Perhaps we should make blocks, write our blog address on them and stick them on municipal notice boards! That would be fun.

I love the graffiti (and your knitting craze). I wore your socks hiking Friday night -- PERFECT! You are the best knitter I know. :-)
