I hope everyone enjoyed the
slideshow from my quilt group's current exhibit. For those of us who live far away from the big shows, the
Bloggers' Quilt Festival organized by
Park City Girl is a great alternative! I
participated in the first one last April, but soon after, I finished this quilt, which might be my favorite quilt that I've made to date! It's made with Finnish
Marimekko fabrics and white Kona cotton.
Here's the original post. Don't forget to visit
all the other bloggers participating in this great event and enjoy!

I love this quilt and the way that the white areas in the fabrics work.
Clean, bold, and graphic. It's stunning!
I love the fabrics in this one! What I'd do to get my hands on those fabrics!! (didn't have enough sense when I was traveling for Metso years ago and visited Scandanavia often)

If I can find some of those fabrics at the quilt festival in Houston I am going to get them to add to the ones you sent me and make this quilt. I love it!

I absolutely love this quilt! My favorites are the fabrics with the large graphic designs and white background that just 'float' on the quilt. Great.
