Round Four
I made a few chocolate chip cookies last night before heading out to a concert with some friends and this afternoon I'm going to finally cook these pumpkins - one will become a pie next weekend for an early Thanksgiving, the other will end up in the freezer for now. I think I might give this no-knead bread a try, as well! It's just that kind of weekend when you need the oven on!
Thanks to everyone for the advice on Round Three - I ended up with the green - definitely the most popular choice. For Round Four I was going to use the white flying geese (on the bottom) because they echo the ones in the center, but now I think I'm going to use the colorful geese (on the right) because the white will contrast more with the green and gold rows on either side.
Here's a nice view out my quilting room window this morning - Deb asked me to post one, since she's in 90F weather!

You have to use the coloured flying geese on white background. That gave the best impression on me.
The colored geese/white background look much better to me. Ties back in with the center better than the geese you show on the bottom. Even tho the bottom geese are identical to the ones in the center. Good choice :-)
I like the colored geese too - looking great!!
Your quilt is really looking great, Hedgehog! Love those colors...definitely like the colored geese best. :D Oh, and I love your snow!! I do hope we get some this Winter.
I agree with everyone else. THe colored geese on white are teh best choice.
I'm going to chime in on the colored geese, too. It reminds me more of trees and leaves. Like Nancy said, it keeps the continuity going.
It's the colored geese for me, too *s* What a nice view from your window. The snow makes everything look so serene.
The quilt is really coming along well. Love the colors.

Your quilt is coming a long so nicely... its so pretty ..just love the colors your using!
Snow pictures are turning up on several blogs now!! I would love to go out and play in the snow for a bit!! Always a kid at heart!! We rarely ever get snow where I live in Texas...
I love how your medallion is turning out! I always have to experiment like you are doing. So I end up with extra pieces--they will work somewhere else! Looks good! So do the cookies!
Colored geese, white backgroung, gold border. Looks great. I like the picture of the snow. You are very talented.
Looks great--a real Quilt by Committee! Aren't you glad you pleased us all?
Mmmmm... the cookies look good (so does the quilt!).
The quilt is looking stunning. I love the picture of the snow. I've never lived anywhere that cold - visited, but never lived. Right now we're enjoying sunny blue skies. *grin*
your quilt is is coming along nicely.
I love the photo of the snow. I would love to spend a Winter with snow. And those cookies look delicious.
I agree the colored geese are better - I like the scrappy yellow too. (The white geese can be "back art")
How long did you cookies last? I made 2 dozen - they were gone with the weekend...
Love the quilt progress and the view...
The view out you room is very nice. I love the colors in your quilt.
Yikes that looks cold. Yes I like the colored geese better. This is turning out so wonderful! And guess what I found at the quilt show last week! The pattern for your center!!!!!
You've been very busy! I like your choice with the geese too.
Thanks for the snow shot!!
I love the colours you've chosen. The green/cheddar combination i very good.

All of your food dishes look so great. I bet they taste as good as they loook.
This is such a beautiful quilt. I agree I like the colorful flying geese better too. I have never actually made different blocks to see what to use in a quilt. What do you do with the blocks that you don't use?
Good decision - I like the colored geese much better for exactly that reason - they contrast much better. This is turning out so well!
