In keeping with the apolitical nature of this blog, here is my political statement for the day:

I was actually thinking I needed to make a quilt along these lines! Of course it would have to be for the next election... ;- )

I stayed up until 3 my time (you are two hours later, I think) - didn't make it until the bitter end (not that that's quite the right expression in this instance - or not for me, anyway). Anyway, it was a sure thing by then, so I could sleep soundly. I'm looking forward to being able to be an American abroad without feeling somehow ashamed of it all...
I'm on the West Coast, so I had the opposite experience. Pennsylvania was called before I even left my office for the day!
I love your quilt. That hat fabric is just awesome!
