9 in 2oo9

My neighbor and I have officially reached our goal of knitting 9 pairs of socks each in 2oo9 - and it's only August! Next year we're planning 10 pairs of mittens in 2o10!

I wish i could knit socks. Maybe one day I will learn. I like the variety of the socks. You two have out done yourselves.

What a wonderful photo, and what a great accomplishment! I haven't been bitten by the sock-knitting bug yet -- I'm thinking I'll try it this winter. Your strawberry blocks are cute, too -- what charming fabric!

What a neat picture of all the colorful socks! I tried to knit socks one year and they were a complete disaster. I never did figure out how to make a heel... Maybe I'll try again this winter.
