I finished the red confetti wall-hanging this evening!! Once again I used Ami Simm's cool wall-hanging anti-sleeve sleeve technique and Tonya's letter tutorial to write the recipients' names OANAMI (Oana and Nami) on the back. Thanks again to Anne for the confetti idea! The whole thing is 16" x 40".
I need a new project like a hole in the head, but all those string blocks out there on people's blogs have been tempting me!

I love the hanging sleeve technique! Thanks for show it to us. The quilt is great, love all the patterns of the red fabrics, and of course the free pieced letters!!
The string blocks look fun - great way to use up all those left over bits. Love the finished quilt too :)
Hoorah for the finish - I love it and want to try the confetti idea too. And the hanging sleeve is good too.
Love the heartstrings concept too. Those colours of yours looks good together too.
Hope you managed to finish that editing project.
I love the confetti hanging, it's so pretty.
The string blocks are going to be fun. I'm such a sucker for making them. I'mn supposed to be getting on with a 'proper' quilt but got caught up with making string blocks instead. :)
Now that is one nifty sleeve. Of course you 'need' a new project - we always do *s*
Love the string blocks! And all those reds together are yummy.
we all need another project - that way we are never bored!! :D
I love the string blocks! Perfect use of scraps!!
LOVE those string!
Your confetti wallhanging looks wonderful - so glad you enjoyed the idea - after all I only purloined it from someone else too. Great method for an easy way of hanging a quilt - never come across that before - probably a bit difficult for a big quilt but fab for wall hangings
Oooooooh . . . Love the string block!
That's a great new configuration for the string blocks!!
I am really enjoying that block, so clever and fresh! The reds totally make it pop.
I love the string block too - the red/yellow combination is beautiful!
