Lucky Strings

Just a quick WIP photo. I started these string block back in June and posted a little tutorial here. Once I get this together and send it off to it's recipient, I'll post a little more about the project. Its wonkiness is good practice for Tonya's course - I'll try to post photos of my sewing for that this week!

those strings are a great way to "loosen up" as there is no right way for the final pattern to look! The red that you've used off and on is very striking...

OH good - a reminder of how you did that! Thanks. Right now, next to my bed, is a giant bag of pink strings, hopefully nearly ready to do this! I need to decide a Zing color to go with it, probably purple, or deep blue.

This is still one of my favorite quilts I've seen on the Internet! Thanks

Love it - the red and yellow look great together. That's the good thing about string quilts, wonky is ok.
